The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), in collaboration with the UNIMAS Accounting Society (UNIMAC), successfully organized Accounting Week 2026 from 6 to 11 April 2026. Held under the theme “Dream Big, Lead Tomorrow,” the programme featured a series of career talks, mock interviews, and workshops designed to enhance students’ professional competencies and industry readiness.
FEB and UNIMAC also extend their gratitude to key collaborators, including Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), AICPA-CIMA Asia Pacific, Ernst & Young (EY), Crowe Malaysia, BDO Malaysia, Forvis Mazars Group, Virdos Lima Consultancy, SCOPE, KAF Group, and Sunway College.
In addition to the academic and professional sessions, participants engaged in interactive activities such as “Buzz N Balance” and “Run The Numbers,” fostering both teamwork and engagement throughout the week.
The programme’s success reflects the dedication and commitment of the organising committee. Appreciation is extended to the Programme Director, Grace Nathania Gaisah, and all committee members for their efforts. Under the leadership of Darren, Chairperson of UNIMAC 2025/2026, Accounting Week 2026 has set a commendable benchmark for future student-led initiatives at FEB.
