The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (FEB UNIMAS), hosted a benchmarking visit on 21 January 2026 from Universitas Panca Bhakti (UPB), Indonesia, led by Dr. Sartono, MM, Dean of FEB UPB.
The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Dayang Affizzah Awang Marikan, Dean of FEB UNIMAS, together with members of the faculty’s management team. The visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation and explore potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions.
Discussions during the session focused on three main areas: student exchange initiatives, human resource development at the postgraduate level, and collaboration in research and community service activities.
The visit concluded with the signing of a Letter of Commitment between FEB UNIMAS and FEB UPB, signifying a shared commitment to fostering academic cooperation and developing future collaborative programmes that benefit both institutions.
This engagement marks an important step towards strengthening international academic partnerships and promoting mutual growth in education, research, and community engagement.
