The essence of Sungkey, a Sarawakian term for breaking fast, transcended mere culinary indulgence as students and staff alike gathered at the Chancellory Bucida Square, each bearing a cornucopia of homemade and store-bought delicacies to share with friends and colleagues. The scene was a testament to the rich tapestry of cultures within the university, with hundreds of delectable dishes adorning the communal tables, inviting all to partake in the spirit of unity and camaraderie.
Under the sprawling Sarawak sunset sky, attendees assembled their own mats, creating a colorful mosaic of diversity as they sat together to enjoy the culinary delights and engage in heartfelt conversations.
