UNIMAS Global was honoured to host a benchmarking visit from the Office of the Deputy Dean (Student Affairs), Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya, reflecting a shared commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement in higher education.
The delegation, led by YBrs. Dr Suhana Koting, was warmly welcomed by YBrs. Mr Thian Foong Fatt, Director of UNIMAS Global, together with the UNIMAS Global team. Prior to attending an official university meeting, Mr Thian took the opportunity to present a souvenir to Dr Suhana as a token of appreciation and goodwill, symbolising mutual respect and the strong spirit of inter-university collaboration.

The visit continued with a dedicated benchmarking session at UNIMAS Global, focusing on student affairs, admission, and mobility initiatives. During the session, UNIMAS Global shared its approaches and best practices in coordinated admission processes, structured student support services, effective programme planning, strong engagement with partner institutions, and clear student reporting mechanisms. These integrated initiatives aim to provide holistic support throughout the student lifecycle, from admission and onboarding to student engagement and international exposure, while enhancing students’ academic readiness, intercultural competence, and overall university experience.

The session concluded with a fruitful discussion and experience sharing over coffee, providing a relaxed yet engaging platform for further exchange of ideas and strengthening professional relationships.
