
On 29th of November 2025, Nur Najwa Nabilah binti Badrul Hisham (Year 4 Nursing Student)
and Muhammad Aqil Raziq bin Ramzi (Year 1 Doctor of Medicine Student) has represented
Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UNIMAS in the Inter-Varsity Forum in conjunction of
World Aids Day & International Screening Week 2025 Celebration at Sunken Garden, MyTOWN
Kuala Lumpur . They have accepted the challenge to become one of the panelist and moderator
for this national-level forum.


Under the theme “Facing Challenges, Transforming Actions”, this year’s national celebration
focused on the challenges of HIV transmission through sexually transmitted – including the need
to access PrEP, an understanding of U=U, and efforts to eliminate the stigma with the goals to
end AIDS by 2030. UNIMAS has taken part in being the panelist for forum “TABOO IN SEXUAL
EDUCATION” (Aqil Raziq) with Dr Sathya Rao Jogulu(Consultant in Family Medicine &
Communicable Disease,Medical Educator and Reasearcher KKKL) and also the opportunity to
become the moderator “RESILIENCE & MOVING FORWARD” (Nur Najwa Nabilah) with Mr
Khalid Hassim(Head of KOMITED Malaysia).
Thank you to AIDS Foundation Malaysia and AIDS Council Malaysia together with the Ministry
of Health (KKM) and Sime Darby Foundation for this golden opportunity alongside breaking
barriers,defying taboos and achieving universal health equity . Together, we can shape a
generation free from AIDS by 2030!
