The Faculty is pleased to honour the commendable achievements of our students who represented us at SULAM Innovate 2025, hosted by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) from 25 to 26 November 2025. In a highly competitive national arena, our counselling team distinguished itself by advancing to the finals, standing among the most innovative student groups from across Malaysia. Although they did not secure an award, earning a place in the finals of such a rigorous competition is a notable accomplishment that reflects their skill, dedication, and academic excellence.

Throughout the programme, the students demonstrated exemplary creativity, critical thinking, and resilience. From the conceptualisation of their SULAM project to the delivery of their final pitch, they showcased professionalism, strong teamwork, and a deep commitment to community-centred engagement. Their success reinforces the transformative value of experiential learning and highlights the meaningful impact of SULAM initiatives in cultivating well-rounded, future-ready graduates.

The Faculty extends its heartfelt congratulations to the team for their perseverance and passion. Their achievement at the national level serves as an inspiration to their peers and strengthens our commitment to nurturing innovation, leadership, and excellence in student-led endeavours.

Our finalists — Norsuhaiza Attilia Suhardi, Zalina Mohamad Jeffrey, and the 4th Year Counselling students — represented the Faculty with distinction through their SULAM project, The 5th Sarawak Counselling Colloquium 2025 (SCC2025). Their success marks an important milestone for the programme and underscores the high quality of student engagement and innovation cultivated within the course. The Faculty commends their outstanding efforts and looks forward to witnessing their continued growth as they lead and inspire future initiatives.
