UNIMAS Global, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, Language & Communication (FELC), is honoured to host a delegation of 15 teachers from the Malay Language Centre of Singapore under the Program Penyerapan Bagi Guru Peneraju dan Kanan Bahasa Melayu Singapura 2025.

The delegation, led by Mr. Muslim Hanafiah, was warmly welcomed at UNIMAS Global by Mr. Thian Foong Fatt, Director of UNIMAS Global, together with Mr. Mohd Ilham Abdullah, Head of the Mobility Unit, and UNIMAS Global staff.

As part of the cultural exchange, participants took part in hands-on sessions in Sarawak bead-making and a traditional cooking workshop featuring Penyaram, a Sarawak heritage delicacy.

Over the five-day programme, the teachers will also attend academic lectures on education, visit SK St. Teresa and SMK Padungan, and explore Sarawak’s rich cultural diversity through a visit to the Sarawak Cultural Village.
