Kuching, 29 August 2025 – The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), marked a proud achievement at the Borneo InTEX International Technology Expo 2025, held on 27–28 August at Raia Hotel and Convention Centre, Kuching.
The FCSIT team brought home an impressive 21 awards – 15 Gold, 5 Silver, and 1 Bronze – a testament to the faculty’s innovation, creativity, and research excellence.
The annual expo gathered innovators, researchers, and technologists from across the region to showcase cutting-edge solutions and breakthrough ideas. FCSIT’s success highlighted the faculty’s growing reputation as a hub for impactful research and future-ready talent.
“Winning these awards reflects not only the dedication of our researchers and students but also the spirit of collaboration and innovation that drives FCSIT,” said the Dean of FCSIT in her congratulatory remarks.
The faculty also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the event organizers for providing an excellent platform to showcase innovations and foster knowledge exchange.
