UNIMAS is proud to announce the launch of the UNIMAS Digital Experience Hub, a pioneering initiative that positions the university as the first public institution in Malaysia to collaborate with Google for Education on a comprehensive digital transformation effort. This milestone reflects UNIMAS’s commitment to enhancing digital capabilities across teaching, learning, and community engagement—locally, nationally, and globally.
The Digital Experience Hub is built on three strategic pillars. First, the Digital Experience Hub itself offers certified training modules designed to strengthen digital competencies among UNIMAS staff and students, while also extending these opportunities to the wider community. This initiative supports UNIMAS’s aspiration to become a Google Reference University in the region, setting a benchmark for excellence in digital education.
Second, the Grab-and-Go Chrome initiative improves access to the Google ecosystem, particularly for students from underserved backgrounds, including those in the B40 category. With scalability and flexibility at its core, this solution ensures that digital tools and resources are accessible to an expanding student population, supporting inclusive and equitable learning experiences.
Third, the Digital Solutions Space showcases UNIMAS’s innovations in digital transformation, including AI-driven technologies developed within the university. These solutions align with Sarawak’s digital economy agenda and contribute meaningfully to national and international progress in the digital domain.
