The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), UNIMAS, proudly celebrates its remarkable achievement in securing 4th place at the Top Coder Challenge 2024 National Level.
The Top Coder National Coding Challenge 2024 Grand Finale took place alongside the Technology Industry Academia Forum (T-AI Forum 2024) on 21st December 2024.
The program was organized by the Data Science Association, Taylor’s University, and Thulija Technologies Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with the International Youth Centre (IYC) as part of the Rakan Muda initiatives.
The team members who won 4th place, Chai Ming Yang and Khoo Chee Guo, competed against 45 teams from 15 participating universities across Malaysia, showcasing their programming skills and problem-solving abilities.
Other teams that supported their journey to the national stage included Team Dexter Skudd Anak John Rizal and Samson Riger Anak Samuel Kruger, and Team Evanuell Ak Nicolas Kendy and Dyril Chua Khang Jun, who secured the 1st and 2nd positions during the university-level competition on 7 December 2024.
This stellar performance underscores FCSIT’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in programming.
