On 23rd July, Traffix from UNIMAS competed in the grand finale of the Entrecamp Malaysia competition, a startup competition organized by Reactor School. This achievement would not have been possible without the help from the UNIMAS Entrepreneurship Centre (UEC).

Traffix has an idea to solve the uncertainty and time wasted in finding parking with one simple solution: a real-time parking locator. Studies have shown that in Kuala Lumpur, it can take up to 58 minutes to find a parking spot, often without knowing if the place is already full. With Traffix’s real-time parking locator, drivers can save a lot of time and find parking with ease.

Before the event, Traffix competed in the Sarawak Leg on the 25th and 26th of May, going up against 10 other teams from universities such as UiTM and Swinburne University.

Traffix managed to secure the top place and earned the opportunity to compete at Asia Pacific University (APU) in Kuala Lumpur on 23rd July 2024. Months of preparation, supported by the UEC team with ideas and sponsorship for the trip, led to this success.

Traffix gained valuable experience from interacting with investors and received praise for its budget management, which was assisted by UEC. Overall, it was a great experience for Traffix!
