On 24 November 2023, UNIMAS solidified its global ties by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with San Agustin and UNPRI. This collaboration, led by UNIMAS Vice Chancellor Professor Datuk Ts Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi, San Agustin Rector Dr Johanes Robini Marianto, and UNPRI representative Dr Ali Napiah Nasution, signifies a commitment to shared goals.
The signing took place at SPACE, Faculty of Education, Language and Communication, UNIMAS, witnessed by Indonesian delegations and UNIMAS teams, which included Professor Ir. Dr Siti Noor Linda Taib, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Professor Ir. Ts. Dr Al-Khalid bin Othman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni), Professor Dr Ambigapathy Pandian, Dean for Faculty of Education, Language and Communication (host), and Professor Ar. Ts. Dr Julaihi bin Wahid, Dean for Faculty of Built Environment (co-host). This partnership between faculties aims to boost academic standards and encourage innovation in education, language, engineering, and the built environment.
The collaboration promises inventive instructional practices, human capital development, and knowledge exchange, fostering community prosperity in their regions.
